1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Padisol platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.Padisol reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
2. About Padisol
Padisol is a The Comfort you Deserve platform that connects tenants with verified property managers. We provide tools for property listing, rental applications, payment processing, property viewing scheduling, and tenant-manager communication.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Each person may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.
- Padisol reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Roles
4.1 Tenants / Guests
- May browse properties, submit rental applications, and schedule viewings.
- May book hotel and short-let properties and make payments directly through the Platform.
- Must provide truthful information in rental applications and booking requests.
- Must comply with the terms of any rental or booking agreement entered into through the Platform.
4.2 Property Managers
- May list residential properties, hotels, and short-let accommodations after admin approval.
- Must provide accurate property descriptions, images, pricing, and check-in instructions where applicable.
- Must respond to rental applications and complaints in a timely manner.
- Are responsible for maintaining the property to the standards described in the listing.
- Must ensure all check-in instructions shared through the Platform are accurate and up to date.
5. Property Listings
- All property listings are subject to review and approval by Padisol.
- Listings must not contain false, misleading, or discriminatory content.
- Padisol reserves the right to unpublish or remove any listing that violates our policies.
- Property images must be authentic and accurately represent the listed property.
6. Payments
- All monetary transactions are processed through our secure payment partner, Paystack.
- Padisol does not store credit card or debit card information on its servers.
- Manager withdrawals are subject to minimum withdrawal amounts set by the platform administrator.
- Padisol may charge service fees as disclosed on the Platform during the payment process.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our refund policy.
7. Complaints and Disputes
Tenants may submit complaints through the Platform regarding property issues. Property managers are expected to address complaints promptly. Padisol may mediate disputes between tenants and managers but is not a party to any rental agreement between users.
8. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings or user information.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through the messaging system.
- Attempt to circumvent Platform fees by arranging off-platform transactions.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security features.
- Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, trademarks, and technology on the Platform are owned by Padisol or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Padisol a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content for the purpose of operating the Platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
Padisol acts as a marketplace connecting tenants and property managers. We do not own, manage, or control any listed properties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Padisol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from rental transactions.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the account at any time. Padisol may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
11a. Hotel & Short-let Bookings
- Hotel and short-let bookings made through Padisol are confirmed immediately upon successful payment. No additional manager review is required.
- A booking confirmation email, which may include check-in instructions provided by the property manager, will be sent to the guest's registered email address after payment.
- Cancellations and refunds for hotel and short-let bookings are handled on a case-by-case basis. Guests should contact us at hello@padisol.com or the property manager directly.
- Padisol is not responsible for the accuracy of check-in instructions provided by property managers, the condition of the property upon arrival, or any disputes between guests and managers regarding the stay.
- Guests must be at least 18 years old to complete a hotel or short-let booking.
11b. Platform Liability
Padisol operates as a technology marketplace that facilitates connections between users. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not a party to any rental agreement, booking, or transaction between tenants/guests and property managers.
- We do not own, manage, inspect, or guarantee any property listed on the Platform, whether residential, hotel, or short-let.
- We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, theft, or financial loss arising from any stay, rental, or visit facilitated through the Platform.
- Padisol's total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the service fees paid by the user in the three months preceding the claim.
- Users rely on property listings, images, and check-in information at their own risk. We strongly encourage users to verify information independently before completing a transaction.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Ibadan, Oyo State, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
13. Email Tracking
13.1 What is Email Tracking?
When email tracking is enabled on the Padisol platform, outgoing emails may contain a small, transparent image (commonly called a "web pixel" or "tracking pixel"). When a recipient opens such an email and their email client loads images, the pixel is fetched and an open event is recorded. No personally identifiable content is extracted from the recipient's device beyond confirming that the email was opened.
13.2 Opt-Out
Recipients who wish to prevent email open tracking may disable automatic image loading in their email client, or contact us at hello@padisol.com to request that tracking pixels are not included in emails sent to their address.
